Two earthquakes with a magnitude measuring 3.0 and above on the Richter scale were registered on February 17-23 in Armenia.
The first 3 magnitude quake was registered 2 km far from the city of Vardenis on February 18, while the second with 3-4 magnitude happened 12 km far from Yerevan on February 19, Armenian National Seismic Protection Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Sixteen minor earthquakes occurred in Georgia, Turkey and Azerbaijan.
