Hackers who worked in Saudi Arabia hacked the Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos’ phone, said Gavin de Becker, a security consultant and long-time associate of Bezos’.
According to Becker, the Saudi government wanted to harm Bezos after his newspaper The Washington Post began to actively cover the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, Press TV reported.
“Our investigators and several experts concluded with high confidence that the Saudis had access to Bezos’ phone, and gained private information,” de Becker wrote in an article for The Daily Beast website on Saturday.
Personal photos of the richest man in the world were published before he announced his divorce from his wife MacKenzie. Bezos initiated the trial. Later it became known that the National Enquirer bought out Bezos's personal correspondence for 200 thousand dollars from his brother's beloved Michael Sanchez.
