President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko issued a decree on signing a Rapid-Reaction Forces of Collective Security Treaty Organization (RRF CSTO) creation agreement, Victor Guminsky, Head of the Standing Commission for National Security of Belarus Parliamentary House of Representatives said on October 6, BELTA news agency informs.
“Thereby, the political decision on the agreement signing is already made,” Guminsky stated.
Nina Mazai, Chairwoman of the Permanent Commission for the International Affairs and National Security of the Council of Belarus maintains all documents on CSTO have been endorsed with no demurs.
Meanwhile, as of October 5, Belarus has not signed the RRF CSTO agreement, “Belorussky partizan” e-source reads.
Nevertheless, Lukashenko declared back on October 2, Belarus has completed all interstate procedures for CSTO joining.
