The number of COVID-19 confirmed in Brazil has increased by over 40 thousand per day, more than 900 people have died, RIA Novosti reported referring to the country's health ministry.
According to it, doctors in Brazil have reported 40,816 new cases and 921 deaths in the last 24 hours.
A day earlier, these figures were 23,284 and 614, respectively.
