Aleksandr Lukashenko has no future as the leader of Belarus, and his departure is only a matter of time, Belarus opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya wrote on her article in Washington Post.

According to her, they insist on peaceful protest and refuse to get involved in violence.

She notes in her article that the number of people going to the processions in Belarus is amazing, they also go on strike in factories, exchange information, and try to help and support each other.

In her article, Tikhanovskaya also outlined a plan of necessary actions.

The first thing is the continuation of mass demonstrations. According to her, despite the assurances of state propaganda that the number of protesters is decreasing, everyone in Belarus can see with their own eyes that the processions are growing every week.

The second point Tikhanovskaya noted was the boycott of the state apparatus. According to her, many private businesses have stopped dealing with state banks, and many more will do the same.

Whenever possible, entrepreneurs should delay or refuse to pay and buy products from state-owned factories, she said.

Among other means of fighting the government, Tikhanovskaya also noted an information policy aimed at preventing disinformation and called for supporting journalists and bloggers from this point of view.

In her article, Tikhanovskaya also accused the current authorities of Belarus of spreading lies and propaganda with the assistance of Russian journalists.
