According to RA National Statistical Service, in Jan.-Aug. 2009 trade turnover in Armenia reduced by 5.6% compared to the same period in 2008, totaling AMD 903bln 581.7m.
Retail turnover reached AMD 596bln 127m, that by 0.3% exceeds last year’s figure.
Within 8 months of 2009 overall retail trade intensity makes 66%, while wholesale – 30.2%.
