Ombudsman of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Yuri Hayrapetyan participated in the General Assembly of the European Ombudsman Institute in Florence, Italy.

A reliable source reported that Hayrapetyan prohibited his press service from reporting his participation in the Assembly to help Azerbaijani Ombudsman Elmira Suleimanova “save her face.”

The NKR Ombudsman, who is a full member of the European Ombudsman Institute, participated in the election of the organization’s Council along with representatives of 60 countries.
