Yesterday RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan met with his French counterpart Bernard Kouchner in the framework of his working visit to Paris.

The officials touched upon Armenian-French relations and the further steps on development of bilateral cooperation. Nalbandyan and Kouchner discussed the prospects of Armenia-EU relations and Karabakh conflict settlement. RA Foreign Minister highly appreciated France’s participation in the peace process as OSCE Minsk Group.

The sides also spoke about Armenian-Turkish reconciliation. Kouchner welcomed Armenian-Turkish relations’ normalization.

Earlier the Foreign Ministers signed an Armenian-French agreement abolishing the entry visa requirements for holders of diplomatic passports.
