Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu’s car ran over a child in Konya city of Turkey,

The child was playing with his friends when a car of the minister’s motorcade hit him and crashed with another vehicle.

The emergency services transferred the 9-year-old child to hospital, Milliyet newspaper reports. The Turkish foreign minister and officials accompanying him also arrived at hospital to see his parents and doctors.

Davutoglu said that the child received a slight injury and expressed hope he will soon be released from hospital.
