YEREVAN. – Rosgosstrakh-Armenia insurance company registered more than 5000 accidents during Jan-May, 2011, out of which the accidents occurred in Yerevan are 2.6 percent more than accidents in regions, head of Rosgosstrakh Armenia insurance company Gagik Grigoryan told the journalists.

At the same time, vehicles registered in countryside are more often involved in accidents that occur in Yerevan. Average index of accidents per day recorded in February was 37. The index was reduced to 32-33 accidents per day during spring. However, the index went higher with 36 accidents per day at the beginning of June.
