A resident of the American city of Charlottesville, Virginia, trusted his intuition and won the lottery 264 times in two months, according to Newsweek.

Representatives of the lottery said that Jelen Taylor used the same three-digit combination on 104 tickets and received a top prize of $500 on each of them. In total, the man hit the jackpot of 52 thousand dollars.

The American used the same strategy for the second draw. This time, he used a different three-digit combination on 160 tickets. The man again won the top prize of $500 for a total of $80,000. As a result, he became rich by 132 thousand dollars.

The organizers of the lottery said that the chances of winning the main prize are one in a thousand.
