On August 27, a murder took place in Arzakan village of Armenia’s Kotayk Province.
According to preliminary information, Zorik M., 46, cut his wife's neck in the bedroom of their house, then went to the neighbor's house and stabbed the neighbor couple. Avetik A., 57, and Anahit A., 53, were taken to the hospital.
Criminal proceedings on murder and attempted murder charges have been launched.
Suspect Zorik M. has not been found yet. Vardan Tadevosyan, press secretary of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, has told Armenian News-NEWS.am about this.
According to him, the initial theory of the murder is jealousy.
"Since one side does not want to comment, whereas the other side is not present, we cannot say exactly what the reason is. Now we can only make assumptions," Tadevosyan said.
