The price of copper is declining Tuesday, trading data show. December futures for copper on the Comex exchange fell by 0.68% to $3.4147 a pound (about 0.45 kilograms).

At Monday's close of trading on the London Metal Exchange (LME), a ton of copper with delivery in three months rose by 1.62% to $7,578.5, aluminum declined by 1.7% to $2,260 and zinc by 0.92% to $2,964.
