YEREVAN. – Armenian and French Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Nikolas Sarkozy will discuss a wide range of issues on mutual cooperation in the spheres of politics, science, culture, and economy, French Ambassador to Armenia Henri Reynaud told the journalists on Thursday at the Zvartnots airport.
Armenian President, FM, Yerevan Mayor, MPs and government members met French President in the airport on Thursday.
in Armenia Sarkozy will also visit Holy See Echmiadzin, to meet Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.
The two Presidents will participate in the opening ceremonies of the house-museum of Charles Aznavour and the monument of French artist Jules Bastien-Lepage, sculptured by Auguste Rodin.
French President’s message will be aired on the big screen in the French Square in Yerevan downtown.
Sarkozy will unveil the sculpture of Auguste Rodin, gifted by Armenia as a sign of friendship, on Friday.
