November 10, 2009 a major fire killed five people, including two children in a private house in Tayshet, Irkutsk Region. The building area (48 m3) got reduced to ashes.
The fire had already spread in the house and destructed structural steels when the fire team arrived at the emergency site, however the firemen could extinguish the fire, ITAR-TASS reports referring to regional administration of Russian Emergency Situations Ministry. Presently, accident causes are being clarified.
