Georgian citizens are charged in Samara region of Russia for robbery attack on a businessman’s house in 2004. The previous court justified and released them, Georgian GHN agency reports.

Georgian citizens Liparteliani, Gabidzashvili, Gureshidze and another one, whose identity is not yet revealed, made a robbery attack on the Armenian businessman Avanesyan’s house, prosecutor’s office of Samara region reports.

The robbers shot the landowner, his mother and young son. The son died at the scene, while the businessman and his old mother were injured. Besides, robbers could not grab money or property, samru.ru reports.

The regional court released them in 2005. However, the Russian Supreme Court overturned the verdict and returned the case for retrial.

The regional court, taking into account the opinion of the state prosecutor, released a new verdict. Liparteliani, who is currently wanted, is charged for 20 years of imprisonment, Gabidzashvili, Gureshidze to 13 and 10 years respectively, but Gabidzashvili is wanted as well.
