The US will begin revoking the visas of Chinese students in the US, Secretary of State Marco Rubio informed on X.

"The U.S. will begin revoking visas of Chinese students, including those with connections to the Chinese Communist Party or studying in critical fields," Rubio wrote.

He added that the US will also revise visa criteria to enhance scrutiny of all future visa applications from China and Hong Kong.

It was reported as well that the US administration wants to deprive China of access to software for creating semiconductors.
