Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents Serzh Sargsayan and Ilham Aliyev held more thorough and detailed discussions of the unsettled issues, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Press Secretary Elkhan Polukhov stated November 23, commenting on the meeting of the two Presidents.

According to Polukhov, the 4-hour meeting proves it was productive, Azerbaijani APA news agency reports.

The diplomat underlined that breakthrough was achieved on a number of issues towards reconciliation, stating “Moreover, the presidents of both countries instructed the foreign ministers to continue the talks. The next meeting of the foreign ministers of the two countries will be held in Athens in early December”.
