RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan visited the Scientific Centre of Drug and Medical Technology of the Ministry of Health on Nov. 25 to familiarize himself with its activities.

A number of questions on pharmaceutical field were discussed at the closed meeting, RA Governmental PR and Information Department informed NEWS.am. Possible solutions were offered to Sargsyan.

Asked about recent price rise for some drugs, Premier replied that Economic Competition Commission is investigating the fact and will publicize the results. “Today we also discussed this issue, as we are worried about the situation in drug market. Importers dominating in drug market today sometimes increase the drug prices 2-3 times and even more, which means the Government has much to do on the matter”, said Sargsyan.
