Russian Gazprom OJSC and Electricite de Francе (EDF) reached an agreement on French company’s joining South Stream project, RF Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said at Nov. 27 session of Russian-French commission for cooperation in Paris.

According to Premier, a final joint activities’ accord between Gazprom and EDF on the territory of France and third countries was reached today.

The terms of EDF joining North Stream and South Stream projects were discussed at the meeting of French and Russian Premiers.

Russia intends to complete the construction of South Stream by 2013 end.
