Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan made a show of himself at the “Justice and Development” Party sitting, Turkish Interhaber e-source informs.
In the course of the sitting held in Turkish Kizilcahamam town, he was met by the local Governor Coskun Unal, who turned to be a member of oppositional Nationalist Movement Party (MHP). Erdogan was obviously unaware of that fact, as he started to talk over the elections:

- Erdogan: We lost the vote and have to work hard to win these elections.
- Governor: But I’m the mayor here already.
- Erdogan: I beg your pardon?
- Governor: I’m the incumbent Mayor of the town
- Erdogan: Really? How come you won the elections?
- Governor: I was elected by the people, God is my witness…

“This incident would not happen if the Premier advisors informed him of my membership to an oppositional party. Anyhow, Erdogan is our Premier and we respect him. I am the Governor of Kizilcahamam and am off politics,” commented the Governor on the matter.
