Prince of Wales Charles and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall Camilla, arrived in Cuba for a historic visit, Daily Mail reported

According to the source, the royal couple was met by Cuba's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ana Gonzalez.

Prince Charles and Cornwall became the first members of the royal family to arrive in Cuba.

The prince and his wife will start their visit by laying a wreath at the memorial for Cuba’s national hero, the poet Jose Marti.

The couple will reportedly stay in Cuba for three days. The are expected to meet with the Cuban President, visit the arts center, and meet with young entrepreneurs. The couple will be welcomed by the British Ambassador to Cuba.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez arrived in Cuba on an official visit in November 2018.
