One can observe a Peseids meteor shower on August 10-12 from The Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory.

During the meteor shower, which is also referred to as Starfall, over 1000 meteors can be seen in an hour. About 20 intense meteor showers are observed during the year.

The Perseids meteor shower begins on July 23 and ends on August 22, and the maximum phase is observed from August 10 to 13.

The center of the meteor shower is in the direction of the constellation Perseus, where the name comes from. At the maximum phase, the number of meteors reaches 60 - 100 per hour, and this is one of the most active streams during the year.
