The Foreign Ministers of Russia and Turkey, Sergey Lavrov and Mevlut Cavusoglu, have conferred about the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
"We discussed the ‘3+3’ format in the Caucasus, as well as the matter of normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia, Turkey-Armenia relations. I thank Russia for the support in these matters," the Turkish FM said after his meeting Wednesday with his Russian counterpart.
According to Cavusoglu, Turkey believes that the signing of a comprehensive peace agreement, especially between Armenia and Azerbaijan, is important for stability in the region.
