Andrew Schofer fulfilled his task, and now Laura Hochla is the co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group from the United States, TURAN reports citing a representative of the State Department.

“On June 21, Ms. Hochla traveled to Brussels to meet with her EU and French counterparts on the establishment of a lasting and sustainable peace for Armenia and Azerbaijan, and on June 27 she spoke by phone with the French Minsk Group Co-Chair and the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office,” said the same source.

Laura Hochla has served as director of the Department of State's Office of Caucasian Affairs and Regional Conflicts since 2022. She previously served as Director of European Affairs for the White House National Security Council.

She is a career diplomat and previously served as Deputy Economic Adviser at the US Embassy in Madrid (2017-2020), Head of Domestic Policy at the US Embassy in Tbilisi (2014-2017).
