Today, December 7 Gyumri commemorates victims of 1988 earthquake. RA President Serzh Sargsyan and other high ranking officials visited Gyumri to participate in commemoration ceremony near St. Prkich (Saviour) church.

In the course of his visit to Shirak region, RA President also visited the construction of sugar factory that started in 2006 with funding of $92 m. Serzh Sargsyan also attended the gasification completion ceremony in Isahakyan village for Ani, Artik, Ashotsk and Amasia regions’ 21 villages.
