YEREVAN. – The US dollar’s average exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 405/$1, at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Thursday, and there is virtually no change in the exchange rate as compared with the previous trading session on Wednesday.

Thursday’s sales totaled $2.8 million at the stock exchange, and all transactions were conducted with the same exchange rate.

The American currency’s selling exchange rate somewhat rose in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market, whereas the buying rate remained almost unchanged. In all probability, the banks expect the dollar to gain value. The country’s exchange offices by the dollar at AMD 403-404/$1 and primarily sell it at AMD 407/$1.
