YEREVAN.- The reports about alleged secret meeting of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) bloc representatives with Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan are fabricated by journalists. 

Secretary of the opposition bloc Aram Manukyan told reporters in parliament that meeting with any leader of any party is not a problem for ANC.

“We can meet with the leader of any party, even Serzh Sargsyan, though we do want to and would hardly ever want,” he emphasized.

Asked whether the opposition bloc will support Gagik Tsarukyan as a single candidate from the opposition, Manukyan said “ANC is not supporting the candidates who have not been nominated yet. There are no candidates now.”
