YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received a call, on Saturday at 1:18pm, informing that an accident had occurred on the Drakhtik-Tsovagyugh motorway of Armenia’s Gegharkunik Region, there were injured parties, and rescuers were needed.    

A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene of the incident, MES press service informs. 

It was found out that a Land Rover had gone off road, for yet unknown reasons, and rolled over. As a result, the jeep’s driver, 38-year-old Garegin Khachatryan, died on the spot.
