YEREVAN. – Taking into account the heavy traffic in the Armenian capital city and number of cars increasing day by day, as well as nature protection issues and interest and increase of demand among population to the bicycle traffic, the first trial bicycle path is set up assigned by the Mayor Taron Margaryan along with the cooperation of Kanachstan NGO. It starts from the Oghakadzev Park and ends near the General Andranik statue. The path of 2.5 km length and 1.5 m width is separated from the pavement to ensure security, city hall informs.
