YEREVAN. – By the year’s end, the Government of Armenia will collect around AMD 220 million (approx. $543,500) on the account of mandatory electronic signatures, or e-signatures, for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs operating in Armenia, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reports.   

“The Armenian government has reimbursed solely AMD 3,000 [approx. $ 7.41] from the AMD 6,000 [approx. $ 14.82] payment that is necessary for the legal entities and individual entrepreneurs to acquire e-signatures. [But] The matter of reimbursing the necessary payments is presented in another way in the official statements that are made to this day,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
