The meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers is planned not only at the initiative of France, representative of Russian Foreign Ministry said.

“All the three states [Russia, U.S. and France] are equally showing initiative to resolve the Karabakh conflict. The meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani FMs is coordinated with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs. An initiative to hold meeting in France was probably put forward by them. Continuation of talks is a result of joint efforts,” Alexander Lukashevich told APA agency.

Lukashevich said the meeting will take place in late October not mentioning the place. OSCE Minks Group Co-Chairs will pay a regional visit depending on results of the meeting.

Moscow supports the dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan aimed at resolution of the Karabakh conflict. The most important is to continue the talks, he added.
