YEREVAN. – When the global economic crisis hit and men became unemployed en masse, this situation became a very serious blow for the men and women alike. And many women shouldered the burden of financially securing their families, but, in the meantime, they felt a lack of support, psychologist Karine Nalchajyan stated, during a press conference on Saturday, speaking on the reasons why numerous girls in Armenia now prefer foreign fiancés.     

In her words, she, as a psychologist, has also encountered deliriums caused by jealousy. Karine Nalchajyan believes the economic downturn likewise has played a part in all this.
