YEREVAN. – Annual fundraising-banquet of the “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund was held in secrecy in Moscow on Thursday, and the participants pledged to donate over $12 million, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reports.

“[Nagorno-Karabakh Republic] NKR President Bako Sahakyan’s spokesperson Davit Babayan, who likewise had attended the banquet, informed about this fact to our reporter.

It is strange, but to our reporter’s [respective] query, the media department of the Fund’s office responded that they are hearing about this banquet for the first time.   

It is also strange that [National Assembly] NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan headed to Moscow to attend the banquet, but his visit was not officially informed,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
