YEREVAN. – Solely fifty-five suspicious cases of anthrax symptoms were recorded as of today in Armenia, and ten of these cases were confirmed as a result of laboratory testing.    

The people living at the source of this disease ask for medical assistance in the case of the slightest skin abnormality and, as a result, there are very many cases of over-diagnosis.     

But there are no hospitalized patients at present.

The preventive and epidemiological measures against anthrax are in progress, Armenia’s Ministry of Health press service informs.
