Military solution to Karabakh conflict is one of the possible scenarios, oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) central office coordinator Levon Zurabyan told the journalists Feb.2.
“Military-political balance shifts in favor of Azerbaijan and the probability of military solution to the conflict increases,” he said, adding that this scenario should by no means be ruled out. Zurabyan blames present administration of the current developments.
According to him, the initiative policy carried out by the RA President Serzh Sarsgyan resulted in increased role of Turkey in Karabakh peace process. The pressure by great powers on Armenia did not reduce and Armenia-Turkey reconciliation turned into new Armenia-Turkey conflict.
ANC representative assured that in case of war, opposition will definitely participate in military activities neglecting political disputes.
“State and national interests are of top-priority to us. In case of war, we will be the first to call on and join military activities. No matter what criminal is ruling the state, under the military situation the disagreements are senseless, but after the war the issues will be set forward and more radically,” Zurabyan concluded.
