YEREVAN. – The CIS Interparliamentary Assembly’s election observation mission delegation to Armenia continued, on Tuesday, its visits to the campaign headquarters of the candidates that are running in the country’s forthcoming presidential elections.
Presidential contender—and opposition Freedom Party Chairman and former PM—Hrant Bagratyan’s campaign headquarters informed the observers that it has not recorded any violations with respect to the campaign process and media access, the aforesaid observation mission’s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
To note, the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly observers have already met with National Assembly Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov and capital city Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, paid visits to the campaign headquarters of the presidential candidates, and they have not recorded any election-related violations to date.
Following their talks in Yerevan, the election observers will head to the regions.
