March 10, RA National Security Council Secretary received the delegation headed by Chairman of the CIS Council's of border guard troops Executive Board, General-Colonel Alexander Manilov.
The officials discussed issues on raising the level of border security, RA NSC press service informed NEWS.am.

Baghdasaryan noted that major reforms are carried out in Armenia to ensure higher level of border security and a project to modernize frontier infrastructure is being prepared.
Manilov presented the Council activities and the existing legal field. He attached significance to the creation of inter-agency Commission on ensuring frontier security and modernization of border infrastructure in Armenia.

An agreement was reached to enhance the cooperation with the Command of border guard troops, as well as sharing the existing experience in the implementation of reforms in Armenia.
Manilov awarded Baghdasaryan with a medal for advertency in border security issues.
