YEREVAN. – Steps need to be taken to promote the Chinese investments to Armenia.
China’s State Council member Yang Jiechi stated the aforesaid, on Thursday in Beijing, during his talk with Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
The State Councilor said he is glad that the agreements, which were reached during his visit to Armenia in 2011, are implemented, informs the Armenian MFA press service.
Yang and Nalbandian discussed bilateral ties, and stressed their aspiration to give new impulse to the cooperation.
On Thursday evening, the FM of China gave a formal dinner in honor of his Armenian counterpart.
On Friday, Edward Nalbandian addressed the China Institute of International Studies (CIIS), and presented the foreign policy of Armenia.
In addition, Armenian MFA School of Diplomacy Director Vahe Gabrielyan and China Foreign Affairs University President Zhao Jinjun signed a memorandum on cooperation between the two education facilities.
