Kyrgyz interim government headed by Roza Otunbayeva yesterday passed a decree on stripping Kurmanbek Bakiyev of immunity, AKI agency reports referring to member of interim government Azimbek Beknazarov.

According to him, based on decision a writ against Bakiyev will be issued. Meanwhile Interfax reports that the judge already gave sanctions to arrest Maxim and Zhanysh Bakiyev – brother and younger son of incumbent president.

“To date we were expecting him, but he holds meetings in Jalal-Abad,” Beknazarov said adding that criminal proceedings are already instituted against the president.

“If Bakiyev does not show up after lunch, we will launch the operation on his catching,” he declared.
