Russian and Georgian Presidents had to stand side by side in Nuclear Security Summit in Washington, on April 12, Kavkaz-press agency reports.

After welcoming Mikheil Saakashvili, U.S. President Barack Obama greeted belated RF President Dmitry Medvedev, who mounted the stage and found himself standing next to Georgian president.
American press called the incident an ironic coincidence.

Meanwhile, Russian presidential aide Sergei Prikhodko ruled out the possibility of the Medvedev-Saakashvili meeting in Washington. “The meeting cannot be held due to the absence of diplomatic relations between Moscow and Tbilisi,” Russian media quote Prikhodko.
