Turkish President Abdullah Gul had a phone conversation with the ex-leader of dissolved Kurdish Democratic Society party Ahmet Turk who was recently attacked in the Turkish city of Samsun. Turk informed that President Gul regretted about the incident and expressed appraisal for Ahmet Turk’s reasonable behavior.

Earlier, MPs of Peace and Democracy party (dissolved Democratic Society) and Ahmet Turk in person followed the trial in Samsun. After the trial Turk was attacked and beaten by a group of people and thereafter hospitalized.
