Novruz Mamedov, International Relations Department Head of the Azerbaijani presidential administration, again tried to pass the desirable for reality.

Speaking about the possibility of peacekeeping contingent deployment in the region, Mamedov stated: “Azerbaijani position is peacekeeping forces should consist of no soldiers from neighboring countries. EU and U.S. peacekeepers’ involvement is desirable.”

As for Mamedov’s statement, RA Foreign Ministry Press Secretary Tigran Balayan told NEWS.am: “We have already commented on Mr. Mamedov’s statements some ten days ago. Today I can reaffirm the voiced opinion.”
