A large unidentified object appeared on the skies of the Thai capital city of Bangkok, and it left behind a layer of smoke, TASS news agency of Russia reported citing the local media.

According to eyewitnesses, even though the said object had caught fire before disappearing, no explosion was heard.

The residents of neighboring states likewise had observed the celestial body. 

But there is no official information on a meteorite falling in Thailand.
