A group of American University students burned U.S. flags to protest Donald Trump’s election as president, The Washington Post reported.
It was noted that in addition students were shouting various slogans with appeals to stop intolerance in relation to Muslims and to respect the rights of Afro-Americans.
According to the newspaper, such protests were held in several universities of different states, including California, Connecticut, North Carolina, Massachusetts and Washington.
