YEREVAN. – Russia and Armenia are going to sign an agreement on Counteraction to Illicit Trafficking of Industrial Products.

Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia, Denis Manturov, on Tuesday stated the aforesaid at the Fourth International Anticounterfeiting Forum 2016 being held in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan.

Up to December 30 consumer loans without collateral up to AMD 2,000,000 will be granted only with annual interest rate of 19-20%

In his words, a single system needs to be created to counteract the chains of illegal trafficking of goods.

“The fight against illegal products will be more effective if its procedures are unified within the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union [(EAEU), which comprises Armenia Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan],” noted the Russian official. “The EAEU Customs Code, which envisions a single format for customs regulation, will contribute to this. The product labeling procedure is also introduced [to counteract the illicit trafficking of industrial products].”
