Russia and Armenia are discussing the supplies of Sukhoi SuperJet 100 jets.

Minister of Trade and Industry of Russia, Denis Manturov, told the aforementioned to reporters on Friday, RIA Novosti reports.

“We are continuing the work aimed at creating a national carrier [with Hungary]. Now we will deal with this issue in Armenia as well,” Manturov said on the sidelines of the 3rd Annual All-Russia Light Industry Forum, responding to the question on the plans of delivering jets to Hungary in the framework of the joint airline company.

“There is only one interest—to advance the Russian manufacturer. This is, first of all,  SuperJet. Currently, it is the main product of civil aircraft manufacturing. This concerns Hungary and also Armenia, where we discussed this issue on Tuesday. We agreed to actively develop it and formulate a specific proposal jointly with our colleagues,” he added.
