Dismembered and burned body of was found on Friday in a suitcase left by unknown man in the area to the north of the country's capital, Lima, RIA Novosti reported quoting the Peruvian police.

José Yactayo, 55, went missing last Saturday, while the reasons of his abduction and killing have not been established, Mexican portal Excelsior reported.

During the last 12 years Yactayo has been working as a producer in independent TV company. He became the first journalist killed in the South American country this year.
