British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson has criticized Russia's actions. In his opinion, Russians should reconsider their foreign policy and show that “they can be trusted again," he said, reports DW.

“They are, I’m afraid, engaged in cyber-warfare, they’re engaged in undermining countries in the Western Balkans -- you saw what happened in Montenegro -- to say nothing of Russia’s actions in Ukraine.” According to Johnson such actions are completely unacceptable.

Boris Johnson also stressed that no one wants a new cold war. " It’s vitally important that we engage with the Russians, we try to understand where they are coming from and we try to shape their policies," said the British Foreign Minister.

On March 4, the British Foreign Office informed, that Boris Johnson will visit Russia in the coming weeks by Russia's invitation. However, as is stressed, the trip does not represent a “return to business as usual”, but will be conducted on an “engage but beware” basis.
