The preliminary investigation body released the Parliament member Khachatur Sukiasyan on his own recognizance. The special investigation service made the decision, as Sukiasyan, who had been on the list of wanteds since March 5, 2008, gave himself up on September 2, 2009. It is noteworthy that a similar act on te part of Editor-in-Chief of the the Haykakan Zhamanak (Armenian Times) newspaper Nikol Pashinyan did not secure his against being arrested.
